Role available: Admin & Marketing Assistant (part time / pro rata contract)

Location: flexible, Dublin preferred

PlayBook Artists is a live agency with offices in London, Dublin, and Berlin. We look after an exciting roster of artists such as Weyes Blood, Angel Olsen, Cut Copy, Leith Ross, Arooj Aftab, This Is the Kit and many more in Europe/UK

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and motivated assistant to join a busy live booking agency. The key focus of the role will be to work alongside agents in the company and support their work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting our booking agents with organizational tasks (for example show confirmations, contracts, tax memos)
  • Liaising with publicists, managers, labels and other professionals
  • Maintaining our booking database
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting admin
  • Managing and collecting ticket sales for shows/tours
  • Assisting with support submissions and budgets
  • Managing social media content
  • work with agents and artist teams (management, labels, publicists, etc) to oversee the execution of tour marketing campaigns and review outcomes.
  • manage, update and distribute digital press releases and marketing assets to promoters.
  • be a point of contact for all marketing-related processes incl artwork approval, advertising access to social media ticket links and more.
  • collaborate with agents on announcement and on-sale processes.

Ideal candidates possess the following:

  • Experience in business administration.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in music marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and tools
  • An excellent working knowledge of (MAC OS) software, Office, Excel, graphic software, email software, familiarity with CMS such as WordPress a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative
